Prescription hearing aids are designed for all degrees of hearing loss (mild, moderate, moderately severe, and severe). If you have a profound hearing loss that cannot be helped by a hearing aid and you have a good cochlea, then a cochlear implant could help you. The first step to determine which hearing device would be best for you is a hearing test. If your hearing loss would be better helped by a cochlear implant, we can help you find a specialist.

To best clean your hearing aid domes, use a cleaning brush with a wax loop. Lightly brush the dome to remove any debris or earwax build up. If your hearing aids need a more thorough cleaning, contact our office for an appointment.

Studies have shown that headphone and earbud use has resulted in an increased risk of hearing loss. When wearing headphones, it’s important to keep the volume below 85 decibels. If you have an iPhone or Android, you can track your headphone usage and set warnings to not exceed 85 decibels.

Yes! There are styles of hearing aids that are considered to be “invisible” because they sit inside the ear canal. To determine if you would be a candidate for this style of hearing aid you will first need to have your hearing tested. We carry the best invisible hearing aids available and can help you find the right one for your unique hearing loss.

Single sided deafness is when you have a profound hearing loss in only one ear. Even if you have a mild loss in one ear and severe hearing loss in the other, it’s still important to wear two hearing aids. We offer single sided deafness hearing aids that are designed to help those with two different hearing prescriptions.

If you are experiencing signs of hearing loss, it’s best to schedule a hearing exam sooner than later. The longer you wait to manage hearing loss, the worse it can get, and eventually you may start to have difficulty with speech comprehension or with your cognition. We carry a large selection of hearing solutions to help you hear better, so don’t wait!
