About Johnson's Hearing Centers

Johnson’s Hearing Centers is a privately owned hearing center located in Inverness, Daytona Beach, and Titusville FL. Owned and operated by Hearing Instrument Specialist, Holly Johnson, we are dedicated to providing a wide range of hearing services to people of all ages. Before opening Johnson’s Hearing Centers, Holly owned and operated several successful hearing centers in Ohio. She knew she wanted to continue helping people hear better but she was tired of the Ohio winters, so she decided to relocate to Florida. Now, she is able to help the people of Inverness and the surrounding communities experience better hearing health while enjoying the sunshine state.

Holly A. Johnson, BC-H.I.S.

Owner | Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist

Holly Johnson, Owner and Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist, has over 25 years of experience helping the hearing impaired. With state licenses in Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, she has witnessed the advancements in hearing aid technology firsthand. Holly previously established several successful hearing aid centers in Northeast Ohio before relocating to Florida to pursue her dream of assisting people with hearing loss while avoiding harsh winters. Through Johnson’s Hearing Centers, she aims to improve the lives of individuals by finding tailored solutions that suit their lifestyle.

Holly conducts Lunch and Learn seminars to raise awareness about the importance of hearing and offers a personalized approach to fitting hearing aids. Additionally, she actively engages with the community through visits to senior and community centers in Inverness, FL, to address communication and hearing difficulties.

Holly maintains an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. She stays busy as a growing business owner and mother to her son, Scott. Outside of work, she enjoys boating, line dancing, and karaoke.

Lindsey Kummerer, audiologist at Johnson's Hearing Centers

Lindsey Kummerer, Au.D., CCC-A

Doctor of Audiology

Lindsey Kummerer, Au.D., CCC-A, is a board-certified audiologist who is dedicated to improving communication for patients of all ages with hearing loss.  Dr. Kummerer believes in treating more than just the hearing loss with amplification by providing continued counseling and support for patients and their loved ones during their hearing healthcare journey. 

Dr. Kummerer graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2015.  After working a few years at a fertility clinic, Dr. Kummerer decided to go back to school to pursue her dream of working in audiology.  Dr. Kummerer graduated with her doctorate of audiology from the University of South Florida (USF) in 2023 after completing her clinical residency at Island Audiology in Honolulu and Vitale Ear, Nose & Throat in Wesley Chapel. Dr. Kummerer is currently continuing her education and interests in research by pursuing a Ph.D. at USF in communication sciences and disorders.  Her research focuses include individual differences in cocktail party listening, speech-in-noise difficulties and perception, as well as subclinical hearing loss.

Heather Hatfield

Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist for Titusville Location

Heather Hatfield, Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist, has over 14 years of experience providing exceptional care to all who experience hearing loss. Heather has worked all over the state of Florida training others in the industry sharing her knowledge, techniques, and best practices. Heather is very patient driven and strives to connect with every one of her patients on a professional, personal level. She thrives on her ability to help add quality of life through hearing to each patient she meets. Spreading knowledge of hearing loss, the effects it has on the brain and treating hearing loss- has become her life mission. 

Outside of work, Heather is busy raising four children and actively participating in their extracurricular activities. She enjoys being outdoors including- but not limited to- going to the beach, mudding, and working on her little family farm. Always with a smile, Heather believes that helping all patients with their hearing loss, educating them on the effects of hearing loss, and the benefits of hearing correction will bring each patient closer to their family and friends, filling the void their hearing impairment creates.

Kim Borrelli

Licensed Hearing Specialist for Daytona Location

Kim Borrelli, Licensed Hearing Specialist, entered the hearing industry in 2012 as a business manager in a multi-office Audiology private practice. She quickly fell in love with the opportunity to help others reconnect with their family, friends, and community through hearing healthcare.

What can seem complicated, she makes it easy. Kim uses her experience as a Director of Training and Leadership Coach, to help patients easily understand their hearing loss and to embrace successful strategies to communicate better using their hearing devices. Kim has returned home to Florida after enjoying her prior career in Boston and South Carolina.   

She is an avid traveler having visited over 20 countries, enjoys spending time in nature parks and traveling to see her children and family.

Adriana Herrera

Patient Care Coordinator for Titusville Location

Adriana Herrera is our Titusville Patient Care Coordinator. She is originally from New York, but was raised in Orlando, Florida. Adriana is currently pursuing her alma mater Argosy University AS in business and has held an A+ certified computer technician position since 1999. She is extremely passionate about making people smile and going the distance for the customer to achieve that reaction of joy as she helps any person she encounters. Adriana inspires to become a Hearing Aid Specialist soon.

She has many achievements and accomplishments, over 30 years’ experience in customer relations and 12 years managing staff in customer service. Adriana has many hobbies that consist of roller skating, computer repair, softball, gaming, and spending time with her family.

Kristen Lee

Patient Care Coordinator

Kristen Lee is our Patient Care Coordinator at our Johnson’s Hearing Centers in Inverness, FL. She grew up in Rhode Island then moved to New Hampshire where she grew her career as a Retail Manager. She moved to Florida six years ago where she decided to continue her work in Customer Service. She started a new venture in the Hearing Industry in Ocala, FL, and has continued her journey with Johnson’s Hearing Centers. 

Kristen enjoys spending time with her family and 4 dogs in the Sunshine State. She volunteers at the American Legion, spends time by her pool, and truly enjoys making people smile.

Isabel Kane, Director of Operations at Johnson’s Hearing Center

Isabel Kane

Director of Operations

Isabel Kane is the Director of Operations for Johnson’s Hearing Center. She was born in Boynton Beach, Florida, and grew up in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Isabel is a focused individual with a constant learning attitude, is fluent in Spanish, and is considered a Business Specialist. She has spent the last decade as a Director of Operations and insurance specialist with a financial advising agency in Tampa, helping clients become financially independent. She is well versed in helping start-up companies establish procedures to help grow their business efficiently and effectively.

She enjoys playing the piano, spending time with her family, and traveling around the country. She lives with her partner, their plethora of cats, and their Great Pyrenees, Anubis.

Becky Cunningham

Becky Cunningham

Accounting Manager

Becky Cunningham has been in the hearing industry for over 10 years, running behind the scenes in multiple clinics. She has a wealth of knowledge. She is the accounting manager for all of Johnsons Hearing Centers. Her passion is to ensure that all administrative procedures are implemented efficiently.

She enjoys training and helping mold others in the hearing industry. In her free time, she enjoys the wonderful sunshine in Florida since she is also an Ohio native.

Joann Andreano

Assistant Sales Manager

Joann is the proud grandparent of six, and spending time with them is her greatest joy. She also enjoys cheering them on at their sporting events. Ballroom dancing, boating and camping are a few of her hobbies. Helping the hearing impaired reconnect with the sounds of life has been her chosen career for nineteen years. Some of the most rewarding outcomes from patients are their testimonies on how they are able to understand a spouse or grandchildren more clearly than in several years.

Ryan James

Insurance Manager

Ryan James is the Insurance Manager at Johnson’s Hearing Centers. She finds great enjoyment helping those around her and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Her two young children, Olivia and Elliott, take up her spare time, but she does make time to spend with friends and family. You can find her enjoying the serene outdoors, or maybe catching a baseball game with her husband. She enjoys reading, spending time in her garden, and many crafts such as making soap and crocheting.

Shelsea Roderick

Shelsea is a proud mother of three young children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her children, her four dogs, and her husband who is also her high school sweetheart. Shelsea has an associate degree in social services and is currently enrolled working towards her bachelor’s degree. Shelsea has enjoyed being in the field of hearing for 5 years and looks forward to many more years.

How We Give Back to Our Community

Although new to Florida, Holly is actively involved in the community. She provides Lunch and Learn seminars and visits senior centers, community centers, and other living facilities to provide educational information on hearing health. Johnson’s Hearing Centers is also a proud member of the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce.
